As we continue to see churn in the workplace through retirement and greater mobility of the workforce, it is increasingly imperative to ensure that the explicit and tacit knowledge of the workforce remains within the organization.  This interactive program will give participants tips and  proven practices for enhancing employee’s full knowledge of your business while increasing your employee’s commitment to professional development.  Participants will:

  1. Learn about new strategies in knowledge management and how to apply them in their industry.
  2. Share with one another their experience in transferring knowledge with one another.
  3. Learn tips and best practices that can easily be adapted to your organization around talent development creating a learning organization.

Kathleen Caggiano-Siino is currently the vice president of human resources at the SUNY Research Foundation. In this role, she leads the RF’s talent management practices for over 15,000 employees, builds leadership programs with SUNY campuses, and supports the organization in becoming an Employer of Choice. The Research Foundation for SUNY has launched several talent management programs including six Mentoring Programs, two Leadership Academies and several programs in Succession Planning.
