Jon Haverly, Master Practitioner, The Wiseman Group

Jon Haverly is a Master Practitioner for the Wiseman Group where he leads Multipliers workshops, delivers keynotes and provides leadership coaching. During his sessions, he draws upon his extensive project management experience to help business, government and non-profit organizations apply the Multipliers leadership principles to engage and utilize their teams more fully. Jon helps leaders and organizations to unlock the full potential of their teams to become even more successful .Attendees of his workshops recognize and appreciate his ability to translate topics into actions which provide opportunities to apply learning immediately and resolve real work issues. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Albany University. He lives with his wife and two children in Upstate New York. Lisa Ryan,

For nearly 30 years, Lisa Ryan, executive vice president/owner and a key training and development specialist at MicroKnowledge, has trained and supported users of software applications. She is known for her professional demeanor, thorough command of topics, and ability to tailor training for every audience. At MicroKnowledge, Lisa conducts train-the-trainer sessions both for internal staff development and for customers. Lisa has significant expertise in databases, programming languages, and reporting tools. She also has extensive training experience in a variety of software applications, including several proprietary software applications, network operating systems, MS Project, Visio, Crystal Reports, SharePoint, SQL, Visual Basic, and other various programming languages. She is proficient in a variety of word processors, spreadsheets, web design applications, business tools, presentation programs, databases, and email. MicroKnowledge’s clients have benefited from the myriad of computer courses Lisa has created. She regularly consults with customers to create courses, for businesses in data science, analysis, and automation to meet the specific needs of each individual organization. A graduate of Russell Sage College in Troy with a degree in computer science, Lisa recently earned a master’s degree in learning and emerging technologies from Empire State College.  She is a member of the Hudson-Mohawk American Society for Training & Development Board of Directors and served for several years on the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the chamber’s Leadership Institute Steering Committee.

Roy Sokol, Global Leader Partner

Roy’s 6 years in the United States Marines Corps was the starting point for a disciplined approach to goal setting and solutions. His passion for business lead to a successful career within the Airline, Telecom and Real Estate industries where he led various teams, learned to collaborate with unions, culminating as a strategic partner of the Launch Team that gave life to JetBlue Airways as well as new process development and implementation as Area Operations Manager for Cablevision. More recently Roy has expanded his expertise and is a candidate for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.  It is this latest endeavor where Roy has focused his energies working with organizations to mitigate risk and improve business processes by applying Accelerated Improvement Workshops and Continuous Improvement principles. Roy’s entrepreneurial spirit has led to a diverse set of business startups, which eventually became the foundation of Ascend Strategy Partners.

With nearly 30 years of experience, Donal has provided consulting services and created talent development programs for dozens of the world’s largest corporations. With a client list of dozens of the world’s most recognizable brands, he is considered an industry leader in designing and delivering dynamic leadership, commercial growth and corporate communication programs that transcend borders, cultures, and industry sectors. Donal has repeatedly been honored with numerous industry awards from SHRM, HRIQ, Brandon Hall and ATD, and is a former ‘Vanguard Executive of the Year’ from Chief Learning Officer Magazine. In addition to serving as President and Founder of Kaydeross Performance Solutions, Donal regularly authors articles for trade magazines and frequently serves as a keynote speaker at industry conferences around the world. He can also be heard in recent appearances on radio talk shows and podcasts on iTunes, iHeartRadio and National Public Radio (NPR). Currently, Donal can often be found in his basement home office in front of his webcam, or occasionally heard loudly speaking to his neighbors who stand more than 6 feet away.

Christine Ramsay’s life purpose is to create a world where humanity is celebrated in a way that everyone’s uniqueness belongs so people can feel seen, heard, empowered, appreciated, valued, and loved. She is 1st generation Armenian- American cisgender woman who is a storyteller, a DEI change agent, a connector, a visionary, and global minded. She is passionate about accelerating organizational transformation through impactful change strategies in DEI, Employee Engagement and Experience, Leadership, Talent and Change Management to enable growth, innovation, and global impact. She is a Certified Coach in Leadership, Social and Emotional Intelligence (EI), and a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP). She is not only a passionate Diversity, Equity, Inclusion leader, she is a parent advocate for Autism and Neurodiversity. She is an influential thought leader and voice for bringing Neurodiversity to the forefront and educating organizations, communities, and our global society on its importance. She brings her knowledge and passion around how to tap into the talent and perspectives of neurodiverse individuals because when leveraged can drive tremendous innovation and positive change within humanity. She currently works for Jazz Pharmaceuticals as a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion thought leader as well as recent Founder of Ignite Inclusion LLC, a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion consulting company bridging the neuroscience behind human behavior of embedding and practicing inclusive habits into organizations as well as specializing in how organizations can drive innovation through the talent of the intersections of Neurodiverse individuals. in addition, she serves as a Volunteer Autism Advocacy Ambassador for Pennsylvania for Autism Speaks, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with Autism. She plays a critical role in helping Autism Speaks meet advocacy goals and works directly with Autism Speaks staff both in local and Washington DC offices to implement advocacy initiatives and is vital to the success of Autism Speaks’ advocacy efforts. She is an active member and advocate of the United Nations of USA, a forum to voice support for U.S. engagement at the UN, with a current focus in making the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) a success. A lifelong Philadelphian, Christine received her Bachelor’s in Marketing and International Business from Pennsylvania State University and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Villanova University. She currently lives outside of Philadelphia with her spouse and two children. Christine enjoys spending time with family, traveling all over the world, Armenian line dancing, playing and teaching classical piano, storytelling, and meeting new people from all different backgrounds.

He is an expert on peer learning for leadership development and has delivered seminars on leader-led social learning and more. Phil has authored numerous articles and published a book on social and informal learning for managers in Japanese. He holds a patent in the speech recognition domain.

This session will provide an introduction to the foundational skills associated with structured project management programs and the benefits that can be realized by individuals, and organizations, in adopting project management practices. Attending this project management session will help you to: Recognize the various stages of a project process and how the project can unfold. Understand and use various project management terms in communicating to your teams and organizations. Introduce the key roles that are associated with a successful project effort including the Project Sponsor. Identify and manage project goals, objectives and risks through the use of a project charter. Determine which of the foundational tools would be most advantageous to your organization and can implement immediately in your organization. Each participant will receive project management tools and templates that will enable them to begin implementing project management best practices the same day!

Joelle Monaco, Director of Outreach & Business Engagement, Mental Health Association in New York State, Inc.

Joelle Monaco is the Director of Outreach & Business Engagement for the Mental Health Association in New York State, Inc. (MHANYS). Joelle oversees MHANYS Workforce Development & Outreach Program within the Capital Region and across the MHA Affiliate Network. This statewide initiative is designed to improve the employment opportunities for individuals living with mental health challenges. This is achieved by creating dialogue and educational opportunities for employers about the importance of understanding mental health in the workplace and as part of workforce development. In addition, she oversees the Capital Region Project AWARE Grant that is supported through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Through this grant, Joelle trains individuals to improve mental health literacy – helping them identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness. Since 2016, Joelle has trained over 1,300 individuals in Mental Health First Aid.
